Additional information regarding Easy Wind Mitigation web application
Easy Wind Mitigation lets you create property-inspection reports on your phone and in your browser. Your reports are stored in your own Google Drive — not on our servers. This page explains the small amount of account data we hold to run the service, where it lives, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.
Where your reports live
Your reports are saved to your own Google Drive, in a folder this app creates. The finished report — the PDF, your photos, and your signatures — goes straight from your device or browser to your Drive; we never receive a copy. A report you’re still working on is held only on the device or in the browser you’re using until you save it to Drive.
What we store on our server
To run the service, we hold a small amount of account data:
- Who you are:your Google account ID, so your data stays separate from everyone else’s. We never receive your Google password.
- Subscription status:whether your Google Play subscription is active, so the app unlocks. We don’t process or store payment-card details.
- A Google Drive permission tokenso your reports can be filed into your own Drive. It can only touch files this app created — never the rest of your Drive — it’s stored encrypted, and it’s removed when you revoke the app’s access in your Google account settings or ask us to delete your data.
- Your inspector profile:the Setup details you enter — your name, company, phone, and license type and number — and the initials, license, and certificate images you add, so the same Setup appears on your phone and in the browser. It’s tied to your Google account.
How long we keep it
We keep the account data above while your account is active, so the app keeps working across your devices. Your reports live in your Google Drive for as long as you choose to keep them there — we don’t delete or expire them.
Where it’s stored and how it’s protected
The account data above is held in a Postgres database provided by Supabase and encrypted at rest; your Drive token is additionally encrypted before it’s stored. Every request is checked against your signed-in identity, so one account can never read another’s data.
What we don’t do
We don’t show ads, and we don’t sell, rent, or share your data. We never receive your finished reports or their photos — those go straight to your own Google Drive. We collect only what’s needed to run the service and keep your Setup in sync.
Deleting your data
You’re in control of everything we hold:
- Everything we hold on our server: Open Inspector Setup and choose Delete my account data — it permanently removes your inspector profile and the Google Drive permission token in one step.
- Your reports:They’re in your Google Drive — delete them there anytime. They’re yours to keep or remove.
- Google Drive access:You can also revoke the app in your Google account’s security settings to remove the permission token we hold.
Deleting data we hold does not touch reports you’ve saved to Google Drive or that still live on a device — those remain yours. Your Google Play subscription is managed in Google Play. You can also email us (below) to request deletion.
Subscriptions
Access is provided through a Google Play subscription. We verify your subscription status with Google Play to unlock the app; we don’t process or store payment-card details.
